Banjos contribution to climate change has resulted in, Solar Power Aust a Newcastle (local) company being contracted to install a Grid-Feed Solar Power System capable of contributing approximately 10Kw of power per day. To do this nearly 50 solar panels will be erected on the Recreation building on the north face of the building. Banjos will thus be using a much cleaner energy source than have been using to date . This facility will enable Banjos to be effectively carbon neutral.
